Accessories for Oil Tanks

Blake Group can supply and fit a wide range of tank accessories, including alarms, gauges, and pumps.

These tank accessories are usually fitted to the tank or supplied loose for site fitting by others. Electrical items are usually fitted with junction boxes and we can also have pump sets and control panels wired at our works. Cable trays can be fitted inside our tank pump housings if required, with lights etc wired to on/off switches.

Accessory Information

Contents gauges are usually pre-calibrated to suit the tank dimensions and the product being stored. There is a wide variety of gauging available, from manually operated to full electronic units with a building management interface. Speak to one of our tank department engineers to discuss the best solution for your tank.

Diesel dispensing pumps can be supplied with flowrates from 50 to 100 litres per minute. A standard kit includes 4 metres of dispensing hose and an automatic shut-off nozzle. Self-retracting hose reels can extend this to 20m. Fuel management systems provide a secure way to permit only authorised users access, whilst allowing managers to view fuel usage data. Our tanks can include either a lockable “top hatch” or full pump housing with a roller-shutter door to store dispensing pumps securely. Lubricating oils can be dispensed using air-operated pumps and hoses with highly accurate flowmeters. Waste oil tanks fitted with air-operated diaphragm pumps will allow you to waste oils from other sources into the storage tank for later bulk removal.

Alarms typically include up to 3 level probes, ideal for high-level/low-level/bund monitoring. Available in 230V or battery power, with or without relay outputs.
