The Blake Group Fabrication Division has recently installed structural steelwork for our friends Alien Rock, in their new bouldering centre at Dunelm Street, Canonmills, Edinburgh.
Alien Rock operate indoor climbing centres at Newhaven and the new facility is expected to open its doors to the climbing public in late June.
Alien Rock founder Reuben Welch stated:-
“Blake’s team quoted, manufactured and installed the job in an efficient manner enabling us to keep to our tight timescale. We appreciated the prompt service for what is presumably a small contract for them. We have used them on previous jobs in past and will do so in the future. Thank you!”
Blake Group has supported Alien Rock with the development of all their climbing centres and our involvement dates back to the famous Grand Designs moment at Couperfield House with Reuben and April installing the mezzanine and roof structures and a nervous Kevin McCloud looking on!
