Wyman Gordon is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. They use quench tanks in the heat treating process where hot metals are quickly cooled in liquids including water, oil, or polymer quenchants. The heated metal components are transported from the heat source to the quenching bath as quickly as possible.
